Four Dead in Ohio

How many more?

Tin soldiers and Nixon’s coming, we’re finally on our own.
This summer I hear the drumming, four dead in Ohio.
Gotta get down to it, soldiers are cutting us down.
Should have been done long ago.

What if you knew her and found her dead on the ground?
How can you run when you know?

How many more?

Four dead in Ohio, four dead in Ohio, four dead in Ohio,
How many more?

  1. The words still bring a buzz to my whole body. I was a soldier, MP, regular army and had been home about a year and a half when this happened. It was weird then, and it is weird now. Thanks for the post, the reminder, and thanks to CSNY.

  2. Sigh. All these years, and there are still no words.
